MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee will host the 2007 Horizon League Women's Volleyball Championship at the Klotsche Center. The tournament runs Nov. 15-18, with the winner receiving an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.

This will be the second time the tournament has been held in Milwaukee. In 2001, the host Panthers swept all three of their tournament matches en route to the title. UWM is also the defending champion in the event and is the preseason pick to win a fifth-straight regular season title.

"It is a great time for us to host the tournament again," UWM head coach Susie Johnson said. "We have five seniors that are all from Wisconsin and I know they are already motivated about playing the tournament at home."

Tournament play opens Thurs., Nov. 15 with a first round match before continuing Friday with four quarterfinals. The semifinals are Saturday with the championship match set for noon Sunday.

Tickets for the event are now on sale in person at the UWM Ticket Office or by phone at 414-229-5886. All-session passes are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors, while single-session tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
